What kind of water should I use?
Use filtered or distilled water for the best results.
Can I wash my molds in the dishwasher?
All Glacio products, except the filling container for the Clear Cube and Clear Sphere Duos, are dishwasher safe.
Should I use hot water?
No; contrary to common sense hot water freezes quicker than cold water, which can result in foggy ice
Can I use tap water?
You can, but due to the impurities in the water, your ice may come out foggier than using distilled or filtered water. If you must use tap water, boiling it first to reduce air bubbles can help reduce fogginess. Just make sure you let the boiled water rest and return to room temperature before freezing.
